A new twist on Iowa’s state motto — and our new stickers!
“Fields of Ukuleles!”

The South Central Iowa Strummers ukulele group welcomes you! We are nestled in the rolling hills of — you guessed it! — south central Iowa! We gather at two locations: the Osceola Public Library and the New Virginia Public Library. We meet once a month at each location; please visit our Meeting Info page to learn when our next strum-along is gathering!

We play songs from our South Central Iowa Strummers songbook, and our songbook is available for you to borrow during our meetings. We play in a song-circle type of format and, generally, our Director leads the group. Often times, members like to lead songs as well! If you would like to lead a song, we are a very supportive group and encourage you to do so! Our songbook is constantly growing, so if you have a favorite song you’d like to add, please let us know!

We are a laid back, no pressure ukulele group! We welcome all skill-levels and all age groups! For legal reasons, if you are under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must accompany you to our in-person meetings. We thank you, in advance, for your understanding and cooperation!

If you have any questions about our group or would like to learn more, please email us at south.central.iowa.strummers@gmail.com! You may also contact us via our Contact Form, located on the right-hand side nav bar of this web page!

Thank you for visiting our website and we hope to strum with you very soon!
